A meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials assessed the impact of regular aquatic exercise on blood pressure. The results published in the European Heart Journal showed that aquatic exercise is likely to have a beneficial impact by improving blood pressure. Moreover, it was reported that this type of exercise should lower the blood pressure of people with hypertension. In addition, aquatic exercises apart from swimming are also believed to lower blood pressure.
